Opinion: Election Central an example of how the Internet has changed newspapers

It’s a new world, and one that I have struggled to come to grips with. Turns out, the Internet is indeed a force in the newsgathering process. Back in, say, 1996 or so, I didn’t believe it would become a factor. I just didn’t see it.
