Sports: Mount Vernon leads late, but falls 10-8

SIOUX FALLS — The Mount Vernon Cardinals watched a 6-0 lead evaporate in the final two innings and found themselves down to their final strike in the bottom of the ninth inning during the state amateur baseball tournament here Saturday.
