Mitchell resident disputes arena impact figures

A Mitchell man is criticizing the economic impact numbers published by one of the city’s events center committees. Kyle Musick made the comments recently on The Daily Republic’s Events Center Blog, and the newspaper later confirmed him as the source of the comments. He was addressing a question-and-answer document distributed by the city’s events and information committee. The document stated, among other things, that the estimated economic impact of the events center is $12 million to $20 million per year.
