Sports: Giants, Mad Dogs ready for district

With the regular season behind them, both amateur baseball teams in Mitchell are ready to dive into postseason action. District play in the South Dakota Class A amateur baseball tournament begins Tuesday. The Mad Dogs (12-12) will travel to Renner for a 7:30 p.m. matchup against the Renner Monarchs, while the GF Advertising Giants (12-8) will host the Renner Roadrunners at Drake Field at 7:30 p.m.
