Crowds fill stadium for second night of rodeo as competition heats up

It’s been a busy few days for J.B. Lord. After competing in Cheyenne on Thursday, he made the trip to Mitchell Friday to compete in the second night of the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo. A rodeo man since he was 15, the 47-year-old said the intense travel schedule was part of the lifestyle. “You get used to it,” he said. “I’m just getting started.”
