Events center on agenda at tonight’s city panel meeting

“Report: Events center.” That’s the top item listed on the agenda for tonight’s Mitchell City Council meeting, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. The agenda does not say what, exactly, will be discussed. A Sept. 18 city election is scheduled for a vote on a proposed tax increase to fund the construction of an events center.
