Farm Service Agency changes consolidation plans

A revised consolidation plan for Farm Service Agency offices in South Dakota has been submitted to the national office in Washington, but the office in Woonsocket is still on the chopping block. In addition, the revised proposal consolidates the farm loan presence in three offices, rather than the six originally submitted. Steve Cutler, state FSA director, said the new plan resulted from public feedback.
