At least 1,500 customers flock to local crafters' store after it announces closing
News that Ben Franklin Crafts is closing its doors drew at least 1,500 customers Thursday, said Dan Schultz of Retail Consulting Services. Schultz said his company, which offers liquidation services, was hired by owners Eugene and Vicki Rowenhorst of Sioux Falls to sell off the store’s current inventory. The store is located at 1401 N. Main Street in Mitchell. “Everything will be sold to the bare walls,” said Schultz, “and we’ll keep discounting until everything’s gone.”By: Ross Dolan, The Daily Republic
