Other View: Don't look for truth in 'Sicko'

Michael Moore is at it again. The maker of political propaganda films masquerading as documentaries takes on the American health care system in his latest work, “Sicko.” Early screenings of the film confirm the filmmaker’s biases and unapologetic tendency to play fast and loose with reality. (It opened last week in a few select cities) Much of the movie compares U.S. health care to socialist systems in Canada and Europe. To no one’s surprise, in Moore’s leftist world Canada and Europe are portrayed as veritable medical heavens, while the United States is health care hell. Problem is, it’s not true.
