Police following leads in armed robbery
No arrests have been made in connection with an armed robbery of a Mitchell convenience store, but local police this week continue to work on the case. Lt. Don Everson said his office has a number of leads that officers are pursuing. There are no suspects. Early Sunday morning, Mitchell police received a report that a man, wearing a ski mask, walked into a convenience store on the 500 block of North Sanborn in Mitchell with a black handgun. Police would not specify the name of the store, but the only convenience store located in that area is Kum and Go.By: Sarah Dittmer, The Daily Republic
