Area landowners hear TransCanada’s pitch
ALEXANDRIA — About 150 landowners and friends endured a steamy Hanson High School gymnasium Monday to hear and give testimony at the second of four state Public Utilities Commission public hearings regarding the proposed TransCanada Keystone pipeline. The meeting was moved from Joe’s Café, the originally scheduled meeting place, when it was determined that public interest was greater than anticipated.By: Ross Dolan, The Daily Republic
