Sports: Kernels move to 17-0

The Mitchell spring baseball team stayed undefeated at 17-0 with two wins over Rapid City West Sunday afternoon at Cadwell Park. West will now make the trip back to Mitchell to take on the Kernels in the opening round of the Region 3A playoffs this week. Mitchell head coach Luke Norden said the game will most likely be played Wednesday at Cadwell Park. Mitchell has the No. 1 seed in the region and West is the No. 4 seed.
