Sports: Kernels break 400

Breaking 400 has been the Mitchell High girls’ golf team’s goal since practice began in late March. The Kernels accomplished that feat for the first time this season at their own Mitchell Invite Friday afternoon at Lakeview Golf Course. MHS had a team score of 399 to finish in 10th place on a pristine day on the course. Mitchell’s previous best score was a 410.
