Sports: Beavers' comeback attempt falls short against Warriors

This comeback attempt had a different outcome for Hanson. After being down double digits in the second half to come back to beat Scotland in the Region 5B championship game last week, the Beavers almost turned in another stunning turnaround Friday night in the semifinals of the Class B state girls’ basketball tournament at the Huron Arena. Castlewood (24-0), which is the only undefeated girls’ team in the state, will take on Sully Buttes (23-2) in the “B” championship game at 8 p.m. tonight. Hanson (21-4) will take on Colman-Egan (21-3) in the third-place game at 6 p.m. tonight.
