Opinion: Mitchell boasts collection of a great idea gone bad

Henrietta Star turned slowly in a complete circle, her outstretched hand touching the counter tops and appliances. In her galley-style kitchen, all were within easy reach. “Everything is at my fingertips,” she said, which was a selling point for the home that she and her husband, Don, purchased nearly two years ago. In doing so, they also bought one of the most fascinating slices of history in American homebuilding.
