NWS: New severe weather warnings to be more precise
Changes in the way the National Weather Service issues severe weather warnings will make it easier to pinpoint storms, according to a spokesman from the NWS Sioux Falls office. The NWS announced Tuesday that it will stop issuing countywide warnings, beginning Oct. 1. New warnings will be more geographically specific.By: Korrie Wenzel, The Daily Republic
