Sports: Cersosimo, MHS take first at Brookings

BROOKINGS — Brooke Cersosimo won her first all-around of the season and the Mitchell High gymnastics team took first place as a team at the Brookings Invitational Saturday. Cersosimo, the defending Class AA state all-around champ, finished with a score of 37.2 to win. Cersosimo sat out the first month of the season with an ankle injury and is just starting to get back into the swing of things, according to MHS head coach Audra Rew.
