Sports: State tourney basketball picks come early

No need to wait for March to forecast this year’s state basketball champions. If history proves correct, I’m going to be wrong whether I pick them today or three months from now. I just as well make a fool out of myself right now than save the embarrassment for later. More than three months early, here they are, this year’s state champions. (Note to SDHSAA: Don’t go engraving any trophies just yet).
