Sports: DWU men’s soccer team in hunt for No. 1 seed; women holding out hope for playoffs

The first year in the Great Plains Athletic Conference has been a good one thus far for the Dakota Wesleyan men’s soccer team. After beating Dana 3-1 Sunday, the Tigers are now 7-1-1 in the GPAC, which puts DWU in first place. Wesleyan is 7-4-1 overall on the season. DWU has 22 points in the conference, which is ahead of second-place Nebraska Wesleyan (6-1), which has 18 points.
