MHS sophomore Weller joins honor band festival
Sam Weller, sophomore at Mitchell High School, has been selected as a member of the 2013 Concordia College High School Honor Band Festival.
Sam Weller, sophomore at Mitchell High School, has been selected as a member of the 2013 Concordia College High School Honor Band Festival.
Weller auditioned with more than 100 students across the upper Midwest for a spot in the clarinet section and was selected.
“This is one of the largest and most prestigious honor band festivals in the Midwest and the fact he made it as a sophomore shows how talented this kid is,” said MHS band director Ryan Stahle.
The festival will take place April 5-7.
