Parents of the couple are Tim Hora, Ethan; and Melinda Mellegaard, Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; and Stan and Jean Starr, Mitchell.
Laura is a 2004 graduate of Freeman High School and a 2008 graduate of Mount Marty College, Yankton. She is a paraeducator at Longfellow Elementary, Mitchell.
Steve is a 2002 graduate of Mitchell High School and a 2006 graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell. He is an assistant manager at Dick’s Body Shop, Mitchell.
A May 11 wedding is planned at the gazebo in Hitchcock Park, Mitchell.
