Huron slips by RC Stevens at state AA
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Huron built a nine-point halftime lead and held off Rapid City Stevens 37-32 in the consolation round of the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament on Friday.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Huron built a nine-point halftime lead and held off Rapid City Stevens 37-32 in the consolation round of the South Dakota boys Class AA basketball tournament on Friday.
Justin Decker had 12 points to lead the Tigers (17-8), who held the Raiders (10-15) to 29 percent shooting. Huron shot 38 percent and went 10-for-18 at the free throw line.
Adam Zwanziger had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds for Huron.
Steven Schaeffer was the only Stevens player in double figures with 15 points.
