The death of a 36-year-old Mitchell man last week appears to be accidental and related to illegal drug use, a local police official said Tuesday.

The death of a 36-year-old Mitchell man last week appears to be accidental and related to illegal drug use, a local police official said Tuesday.

Mitchell Police Detective Lt. Don Everson also said there were no signs of foul play in the death of James Mayer, who died Thursday at his home.
