Lake Andes man pleads not guilty to meth possession

Brent Silk Jr., 22, was indicted in August by a Davison County grand jury for allegedly possessing methamphetamine.

A Lake Andes man has pleaded not guilty to possessing methamphetamine.

Brent Silk Jr., 22, entered a written arraignment and plea of not guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance Tuesday during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.

Silk was indicted in August by a Davison County grand jury for allegedly possessing methamphetamine. He is in custody at the Davison County Jail with bond set at $2,500 cash. His trial is set for May.
