Church, nonprofit to show film on hunger in America
The organization Time at the Table is presenting “A Place at the Table” at 6:30 p.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 301 E. Fourth Ave.By: Staff reports, The Daily Republic
A documentary about hunger in America will be shown Thursday in Mitchell.
The organization Time at the Table is presenting “A Place at the Table” at 6:30 p.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 301 E. Fourth Ave.
Admission to the movie, which runs about 90 minutes, is free.
A discussion panel will follow, including representatives from Bread for the World, the Mitchell Food Pantry, the Mitchell Snack Pack Program and Partners Against Hunger.
