Miller earns NSIC first-team honors for Mustangs

Mitchell native and Southwest Minnesota State University men’s basketball guard Jordan Miller was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first team, it was announced recently.
Miller is one of 10 players named to the first team and is the second straight year he’s been a first-team selection.
Miller finished the season averaging a team-high 15.2 points per game and second on the Mustangs with 6 assists per game.
He never has missed a game in his four-year career, starting all 115 games and finishing third in school history with 1,563 points.
Miller’s coach, Brad Bigler, was voted by his peers as the NSIC men’s basketball coach of the year, leading the team to a 16-14 record, including a 13-9 mark in the conference.
