USED BOOKS SOUGHT FOR MAHS BOOK SALE: Donations are being accepted for a used book sale to benefit the Mitchell Area Historical Society.

On this date in 2011, Mitchell City Councilman Mel Olson suggested that the city needed a consistent policy on reviewing driving records of those applying to drive cabs in the city. Olsen suggested that the city not approve private taxi companies’ drivers but retain approval for Palace Transit drivers as they are city employees.
