General admission will be $10 and tickets are on sale at County Fair Food Store in Mitchell and will also be available at the door the night of each performance. Tickets must be purchased in person and cannot be reserved by phone.
“This production has been an awful lot of fun to work on,” said Dan Miller, DWU theatre director. “The show is hysterical and the cast is incredibly talented. Don’t expect to see the movie on stage. This hilarious musical totally pokes fun at the movie and the ’80s.”
DWU’s version include a cast of recognizable faces, including Jenna Callies, Mitchell, from Area Community Theatre’s “Footloose,” and DWU’s “Damn Yankees.” Alex Smith, who played Joseph in DWU’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” will play Sonny.
