Flags ordered to half-staff in honor of lawmaker
PIERRE (AP) — South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard has ordered that flags at the state Capitol be lowered to half-staff this weekend in memory of former state legislator Donald Haggar.
PIERRE (AP) — South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard has ordered that flags at the state Capitol be lowered to half-staff this weekend in memory of former state legislator Donald Haggar.
The 88-year-old Haggar, of Sioux Falls, died last weekend.
Haggar served from 1959-60 in the South Dakota House of Representatives. He's the father of current Rep. Don Haggar and the grandfather of current Rep. Jenna Haggar, both of Sioux Falls.
