Rapid City man pleads guilty to marijuana possession

A Rapid City man pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of more than 2 ounces but less than one-half pound of marijuana.

Andrew Schorzmann, 26, was arrested after 5 ounces of marijuana were found in his vehicle by a Davison County Sheriff’s Deputy during a Nov. 23 traffic stop on Highway 37 near Mitchell. Schorzmann faces a maximum of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for April.
