2/22/13: Today's games at the Corn Palace

Today, at the Corn Palace, the District 12B and 11B championships will be played.

Times: The 12B championship is at 6:30 p.m. and the 11B championship is at 8 p.m.

Teams: In the 12B championship are Tripp-Delmont/Armour (4-18) plays South Central (12-9). … Hanson (19-2) plays Scotland (15-6) for the 11B title.

Notes: South Central, which is on a four-game win streak, defeated TDA 48-20 on Jan. 25. … TDA, the fifth seed in the tournament, defeated Dakota Christian, the No. 1 seed, Tuesday in the first round. … Hanson is on a seven-game win streak and has not played Scotland this year. … Scotland defeated Avon in double overtime in the first round of the district tournament.

Next: Saturday, the Corn Palace hosts the girls’ District 10B championship game. Top-seeded Kimball/White Lake plays Mitchell Christian at 6:30 p.m.
