RAPID CITY (AP) — A 23-year old man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with five of those years suspended for robbing a Rapid City convenience store.
The media reports that Seventh Circuit Judge Wally Eklund sentenced Ryan Reub on Tuesday.
Reub pleaded guilty to robbing The Big D store in December with a BB pistol that resembled a real weapon.
His attorney told the court that Reub was intoxicated on methamphetamine at the time of the robbery. Reub told the judge that he was sorry for what he did, and said if he weren't in jail he would be dead.
