ETHAN: ‘Pennies for Patients’ hosts various activities at Ethan schools

As mentioned in last week’s column, the Ethan Student Council is raising money to fight childhood blood cancer.

As mentioned in last week’s column, the Ethan Student Council is raising money to fight childhood blood cancer. This week’s “Pennies for Patients” activities are: High school students can bring $1 each day to use their iPods during study hall.

Wednesday, elementary and middle school students can bring $1 to sign their names on a paper penny that will be displayed in the hallway.

Thursday, “Teddy Bear Day,” the elementary students can bring $1 and bring their teddy bear to school.

Upcoming Events:

Today: Boys’ basketball, Parents’ Night vs. Freeman at the Corn Palace at 8 p.m.

Tuesday: District 11 girls’ basketball districts at Corn Palace. Wednesday: Region V High School instrumental contest at Parkston. Thursday: Boys’ basketball vs. Scotland at Scotland at 6:30 p.m. Friday: District 11 girls’ basketball districts at Corn Palace. Saturday: Boys’ basketball district play begins.
