Today, the Corn Palace hosts four basketball games. Mitchell High School hosts Huron in a boys-girls doubleheader and Dakota Wesleyan University hosts Briar Cliff in a Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader.

Times: The Mitchell girls play Huron at 3 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow. The DWU women’s game starts at 6:30 p.m., with the men’s game to follow.

Notes: The Mitchell girls are 16-2 overall and 11-1 in the Eastern South Dakota Conference. The Kernel girls are also on a 11-game win streak. … The Huron girls are 4-14 and 4-8 in the ESD. … Mitchell defeated Huron 64-33 at Huron Arena in the first matchup. … The Mitchell boys (5-13, 3-9 ESD) are on a two-game win streak. … Huron, which won the first matchup 61-39, is 12-6 overall and 7-5 in the ESD. … This is the final game of the regular season for the DWU women (19-10, 10-9 GPAC). Briar Cliff (22-7, 13-6 GPAC) is ranked No. 9 in the nation. … The DWU men (13-16, 8-11 GPAC) need a win to secure the eighth seed in the postseason tournament in their final game of the regular season. With a loss, the DWU men’s season is over. … Briar Cliff is 19-10 overall and 10-9 in the GPAC.
