St. Francis man accused of shoving girlfriend’s head through window

The alleged victim suffered a laceration above one of her eyes and a contusion on her forehead as a result of the attack, court documents say.

A 20-year-old St. Francis man is accused of beating his girlfriend and shoving her head through a window during an argument Feb. 8 at a Mitchell residence.

Allan James Left Hand Bull is charged with domestic aggravated assault, a felony with a maximum punishment of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.

According to court documents, police were called around 7:30 a.m. to 709 S. Sanborn Boulevard following an argument between Left Hand Bull and his girlfriend. During the argument, court documents say Left Hand Bull accused his girlfriend of cheating on him, punched her twice in the face and then intentionally shoved her head through a single-pane window.

The alleged victim suffered a laceration above one of her eyes and a contusion on her forehead as a result of the attack, court documents say.

Left Hand Bull is also charged with two counts of contacting a victim of domestic assault, a misdemeanor with a maximum punishment of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine, for allegedly talking to his girlfriend on the phone while he was in custody at the Davison County Jail.

Left Hand Bull is scheduled to appear in court on all the charges later this month.
