Schultz wins 300th, MCS falls to Bridgewater-Emery

EMERY — Bridgewater-Emery boys’ basketball coach Scott Schultz picked up his 300th career win Tuesday.
Schultz’s Huskies defeated Mitchell Christian 68-40 to earn their sixth win of the season.
Bridgewater-Emery received a huge effort from Clayton Dye, who finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds to record a double-double.
Jarrett Weber also scored 20 points for the Huskies, who were 26-of-64 from the field.
Mitchell Christian grabbed 12 rebounds and committed 18 turnovers.
The Eagles (2-15) were led by Chandler Nelson, who scored 21 points.
Mitchell Christian senior guard Jackson Feiner finished with 11 points.
The Eagles look to get back in the win column Friday when they host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.
Bridgewater-Emery (6-11) plays Irene-Wakonda Thursday in Bridgewater.
