MBA to hold sign ups Wednesday

The Mitchell Baseball Association is holding sign ups for Spring High School and summer baseball at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell Parks and Recreation Center.

Sign ups are for boys ages 13 through 19 and all players are encouraged to sign up early. For more information, visit mitchellbaseball.net.

Jeff Hanebuth bowls first 300

Jeff Hanebuth bowled his first 300 during the Universal League Monday at the Village Bowl in Mitchell.

This is the first year Hanebuth, 29, of Artesian, joined the league and bowled a 686 series Monday.
