A Mitchell man faces multiple charges for allegedly entering four vehicles without permission Saturday in the 1500 block of North Kimball Street.

Charles Medicine Horn, 21, was arrested after an officer followed “distinctive” footprints in the recently fallen snow from the vehicles through a wooded area and to an apartment at 1515 N. Davison St., court documents say.

The officer spoke with Medicine Horn’s sister and found Medicine Horn “passed out on the couch,” court documents say.

Medicine Horn is charged with four counts of criminal entry of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. He faces a maximum of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine on each count if convicted.

Medicine Horn is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
