BROOKINGS — South Dakota State University’s Katie Lingle scored a career-high 19 points to lift the Jackrabbits past Fort Wayne 72-62 Thursday night in a Summit League game.
The win pushed the Jacks’ winning streak to four games. SDSU is now 18-6 overall and 10-1 in league play.
Lingle, who came off the bench, tied a season high with nine rebounds. Gabby Boever had 13 points and Ashley Eide scored all 11 of her points in the second half.
SDSU hosts Oakland at 7 p.m. Saturday at Frost Arena in Brookings in its next game.
Wesleyan men JV team falls in OT to Northwestern

ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Jade Miller had 27 points and Adam Fink added 20, but the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s JV basketball team lost to Northwestern 100-98 in double overtime Thursday.
Trae Bergh added 18 points for the Tigers, Kyle Mathis had 12 and Thomas Gearets had 11.
DWU (5-6) plays Monday against Presentation at the Wellness Center on the DWU campus.
