WINNER — A Winner man pleaded not guilty Jan. 31 to two firearm-related charges.
Joshua Felix, 38, was indicted by a federal grand jury Jan. 16 on one count of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
If convicted, he would face a maximum of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
The investigation is being conducted by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tim Maher is prosecuting the case.
Felix was released on bond pending trial. No trial date has been set.
