Today, at the Corn Palace, the Mitchell High School girls’ basketball team hosts Brookings in an Eastern South Dakota Conference game.
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Records: Mitchell is 12-2 overall and 8-1 in conference play. Brookings has an overall record of 2-13 and is 2-8 in the ESD.
Notes: Mitchell’s Kerri Young broke the school career scoring record in Saturday’s game against Spearfish. The mark sits at 1,569 points. … The Kernels are an undefeated 6-0 at home this season.
