Kernels fall to Watertown

WATERTOWN — The Mitchell High School wrestling team was defeated 49-21 by Watertown in an Eastern South Dakota Conference dual Friday.

Four Mitchell wrestlers earned wins Ethan Parr (138) defeated Taylor McLaughlin in a 6-4 decision. Ben Kummer (160) pinned Jesse Forman in 1 minute and 16 seconds, Tyson Sprinkle (220) pinned Dane Stahl in 1 minute and 45 seconds and Robert McCardle (285) pinned Mason Tinch in 5:46.
