Aberdeen man arrested on Chicago-area murder warrant

Aberdeen police took 29-year-old Daniel Neasom into custody without incident over the weekend.

ABERDEEN (AP) — An Aberdeen man wanted on a murder charge in Chicago has been arrested.

The American News reports that Aberdeen police took 29-year-old Daniel Neasom into custody without incident over the weekend.

Police Capt. Neil Bittner said Neasom was arrested on a warrant and he had no details about the Chicago killing.

Neasom was to appear in court Wednesday. Bittner said he likely will be extradited to Chicago.
