Second legislative forum scheduled for Feb. 9 at MTI

The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a second legislative cracker barrel (public forum) session Feb. 9 at Mitchell Technical Institute.

The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a second legislative cracker barrel (public forum) session Feb. 9 at Mitchell Technical Institute.

The event will be at 10 a.m. at the MTI amphitheater on the south campus.

All three District 20 legislators, Sen. Mike Vehle and Reps. Lance Carson and Rep. Tona Rozum, are slated to be on hand for updates on the current legislative session. All three are Republicans from Mitchell. District 20 includes Davison, Aurora and Jerauld counties.

The event is open to the public.
