FORESTBURG — All five starters for the Ethan boys’ basketball team scored in double figures as they defeated Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 66-65 Monday.

Ethan’s Jace Connor scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Blake Bartscher also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.
Anthony Huber finished with 12 points, Tyler Myers had 11 and Colton Bierle added 10 for the Rustlers, who were 28-of-55 from the field.
SC/W was led by Nick Miller, who recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Todd Stekl led the Blackhawks in scoring with 17 points and Davion Brooks added 12 points and eight rebounds.
Ethan (8-5) takes on Scotland Thursday in Scotland. SC/W (10-4) plays Corsica/Stickney Thursday.

Menno 47, Avon 25
MENNO — Three Menno players scored in double figures to help Menno to a 47-25 victory over Avon in a high school boys’ basketball game Monday in Menno.
Caleb Preszler scored 13 points, Dylan Lehr had 12 and Chet Peterson added 10 for the Wolves.
Avon was led by Logan Mudder, who grabbed 11 rebounds and scored 10 points for a double-double.
The Pirates were 1-of-4 from the free-throw line and 2-of-14 from behind the three-point line.
Menno (4-8) plays Mitchell Christian Thursday in Menno. Avon (5-8) takes on Bon Homme Friday.

Wagner 54, Trip-Delmont/Armour 44
TRIPP — The Wagner boys’ basketball team defeated Tripp-Delmont/Armour 54-44 Monday in Tripp.
Noah St. Pierre led Wagner with 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Chris Kuca added 12 points and four rebounds for the Red Raiders (6-7).
Trevor Payer recorded 10 points and 11 rebounds and added three assists for a double-double. Shane Koster chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
Wagner plays Andes Central Thursday in Wagner. TD/A (5-9) takes on Marty Friday in Tripp.

Dakota Christian 63, Andes Central 34
LAKE ANDES — The Dakota Christian boys’ basketball team beat Andes Central 63-34 Monday.
Darren Fallis finished with 12 points, Carter Dykstra added 11 and Jake Spoelstra chipped in with 10 for the Cadets. Spoelstra also tallied a game-high nine rebounds for the Cadets, who outrebounded the Eagles 37-22.
Zach Cournoyer and Joe Evans each finished with nine points for Andes Central.
Dakota Christian (5-7) takes on Hanson today. Andes Central (4-7) plays Wagner Thursday.

Girls’ Basketball
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 46, Ethan 36
FORESTBURG — Shelby Selland recorded a double-double to help Sanborn Central/Woonsocket defeat Ethan 46-36 in a girls’ high school basketball game Monday.
Selland scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Blackhawks, who were 21-of-48 from the field.
Ethan’s Darbi Gustafson also recorded a double-double with 15 rebounds and 12 points. Rachel Hawkins led the Rustlers, who had 30 rebounds and 24 turnovers, in scoring with 15.
SC/W (12-1) plays Corsica/Stickney Thursday. Ethan (8-4) takes on Tripp-Delmont/Armour today.

LAKE ANDES — Dakota Christian improved to 8-4 after defeating Andes Central 44-35 Monday.
The Cadets were led by Brooklyn VanderPol, who scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Sammie De Lange had 16 points.
Andes Central (6-5) was led by Kellie Winkler, who had 14 points and tallied 15 to record a double-double.
