Kimberly Kay Miiller, 41, Ethan, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.

She was born on June 23, 1971.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bittner Funeral Chapel, Mitchell, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service.

She was born in Deadwood to Frank and Faith (Lackey) Maynard.

She moved to Mitchell at a young age and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1989. She worked at Happy Chef and Shopko until 1993.

On Aug. 14, 1993 she married James Miiller.

They farmed southwest of Mitchell.

She was employed by Scrappin Ladies 2, where she became manager in October 2006 and then became the owner in 2008.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was an avid Vikings fan.

Her two sons and her entire family, nieces and nephews included, were her life.

She was very supportive of her sons’ love of antique tractors and their participation in high school sports.

She is survived by her husband, James; her two sons: Austin and Kardel; her father, Frank (Nancy) Maynard, Hot Springs; her mother, Faith Maynard, Mitchell; two brothers: Jason (Susan) Maynard, East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y.; and Chad (Heidi) Maynard, Harrisburg; two stepbrothers: Joe (Andrea) Fiala, Miller; and Jeff (Stacie) Collins, Hot Springs; two sisters-in-law: Elaine Erickson, Hitchcock; and Karen Miiller, Sioux Falls; father- and mother-in-law, Dale and Cheryl Miiller, Ethan; grandmother, Ethel Lackey, Huron and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phillip and Olive Maynard; and Lester Lackey.

A memorial fund is being established in her name to Ethan High School.
