She was born on April 3, 1937.
Funeral services will ENDRES be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ethan. Burial will be in Church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Parkston.
Germaine Endres was born on April 3, 1937, to Norbert and Ann (Krier) Haiar at the Mitchell Hospital.
She attended Farmer St. Peter Parochial School for eight years and Edgerton Consolidated High School at Farmer, graduating in 1955.
She worked at the Credit Bureau in Mitchell for three years.
On April 10, 1958, she was united in marriage to Norman W. Endres at St Peter Church in Farmer.
In 1961, they moved to a farm near Ethan. Germaine worked at Raven Industries, Parkston, from 1980 until her retirement in October 1997.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Ethan, Holy Trinity Altar Society and American Legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed quilting and antiques.
She is survived by her husband, Norman, Ethan; four children: Steve Endres and wife, Cindy, Mitchell; Bob Endres and wife Lisa, Ethan; Diane Kennedy and husband Steve, Sioux Falls; and Mark Endres and wife Stacey, Ethan; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a brother, Wilbur Haiar and wife Julie, Alexandria; two sisters: Marjorie Reisch and husband Amos, Howard; and Doris Schlimgen and husband Melvin, Dimock; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Marlene and husband Chuck Wethor; and Jeanette and husband Jim Wethor; and a brother in infancy.
