Mitchell man critical after gun incident
A Mitchell man is in critical condition following a Thursday night gun-related incident, according to local authorities.
A Mitchell man is in critical condition following a Thursday night gun-related incident, according to local authorities.
Detective Lt. Don Everson, with the Mitchell Police Department, said officers responded to a 911 call at 1220 E. Havens, Lot No. 197, at 7:24 p.m. Thursday.
He said an unidentified man appeared to suffer from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Everson said the victim was transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital.
Everson said there is no evidence of foul play, but the incident is still under investigation.
