I-90 re-opens following semi crash near Plankinton

Cleanup continues this morning following an overnight semi crash on Interstate 90 in the Plankinton area.

A badly damaged semi and trailer are upside-down on the roadside. A power utility pole appears to be wedged between the semi's axles.

Automated messages from the state's ClearPath 511 system say there was a road blockage at 12:15 a.m. between the Plankinton exit and the U.S. Highway 281 exit. An update at 4:04 a.m. said the road was re-opened.

No further information about the accident is yet available.
