OACOMA (AP) — Young Farmers and Ranchers is holding its winter conference in Oacoma.

The event running Thursday through Sunday at Cedar Shores Resort is geared to farmers and ranchers ages 18 to 35.

Topics include beef industry advancements, cattle market insights, shelterbelts and farm horticulture projects, weather insurance, trends in agronomic practices and programs available for beginners.

Agriculture social media expert Michele Payn-Knoper and This Week in Ag journalist Patrick Haggerty are the keynote speakers.

The cost to attend is $60 per person.
